You really have to admire the smokers in those greats. Is that a cigarette I see almost burning a whole in O.H.'s pants? Is O.H. your father, Bill?
Aside from the J****ss with the pipe, it is an impressive list and may account -- since I would almost reproduce it -- for your and my perspectives on evangelicalism and Reformed.
Yeah, that's my father, a ruling elder. He was a smoker till a Gideon told him it hurt his testimony. He was mainly a pipe man as I knew him, though I can remember one time seeing him smoke a cigarette.
